Anthony Joseph Costello is a multidisciplinary actor and model from all over the East Coast.
Raised primarily in North Carolina, he is an alum of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts high school drama program and a 2025 graduate of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Purchase College with a B.F.A. in Acting.
He is currently based in NYC and was most recently in the off-Broadway world premiere of FIGARO/FAGGOTS at Baryshnikov Arts Center. Previous theatrical world premieres include the stage adaptation of James Baldwin’s prolific novel GIOVANNI’S ROOM, and Madeline Myer’s new musical DOUBLE HELIX. He has worked since he as a young teen at regional theaters around New York, Philadelphia, and North Carolina.
His work on camera expands across platforms with lead roles in films that are currently showing in multiple festivals throughout the U.S.
Anthony is particularly passionate about amplifying queer voices with work that he is grateful to take part in, and he has a knack for transformation through physical exploration and dialect work.
